BOISE, Idaho — Boise State University entering second year of deal with ESPN that will give the school athletic conference, MWC, at least $1.1 million and up to $2.6 million more in bonuses for broadcasting most of its football games on the sports network.

The Idaho Business Review (http://bit.ly/1lvc1rr) reports ESPN will show all but one of the Broncos' home games this fall, with a non-conference game against the University of Louisiana at Lafayette shown on the +CBS Sports Network cable channel.

CBS Sports Network is the primary rights holder for most games in the Mountain West Conference, to which Boise State belongs. But ESPN is the primary rights holder for Boise State home games.

The Broncos get $300,000 for any home or Mountain West Conference game on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC. The Mountain West also gets $200,000 for any game played on Saturday.

Under the schedule released April 17, the Broncos will get $500,000 for the team's home opener, a Saturday game against Colorado State University on Sept. 6 that will be broadcast on ESPN2. The Broncos also get $300,000 each for Friday night home games against Fresno State and Brigham Young University in October that will be on ESPN or ESPN2.

If any of the Broncos' final three games are picked up by one of ESPN's main networks, the university will get a bonus.

The Mountain West Conference doesn't disclose how much the CBS Sports Network football contract pays each team.
